Your tools don't talk
to each other.
IP Radar Essentials turns five logins into one morning view. Your docket system, USPTO data, examiner intelligence, filing deadlines, and territory monitoring — connected in a single premium prosecution dashboard. Reclaim the billable hours your team loses to context switching every day.
The Problem
Five tools. Five logins. Hours of billable time lost daily.
The average patent prosecution team juggles Anaqua for docketing, Juristat for examiner analytics, PatSnap for prior art, ClaimMaster for drafting, and spreadsheets for everything in between. None of them share data. Every context switch is billable time that never gets billed.
Patent attorneys spend nearly an hour daily switching between disconnected tools, re-entering the same case data across docket, analytics, and search platforms. At $400/hr, that's $3,200/week walking out the door.
When response deadlines live in one system and case status lives in another, critical dates fall through the cracks. One missed 102(b) bar destroys patent rights permanently.
"What does §103 require?" "How does Alice/Mayo work?" "What's the deadline for this OA?" Your senior attorneys are losing hours every day answering questions that a well-structured reference tool could handle instantly.
Every prosecution tool looks backwards — managing existing cases. None of them surface new filing opportunities from academic publications, federal awards, or competitor filings.
The Intelligence Layer
We don't replace your tools. We make them worth the money you're paying.
Import from the docket system you already use. IP Radar pulls live data from USPTO and layers on prosecution intelligence your existing tools were never designed to provide.
Premium Prosecution Intelligence
One morning view. Every case. Every deadline. Every billable hour reclaimed.
IP Radar Essentials is the intelligence layer on top of your existing tools. It pulls key data from each, connects it in a single premium dashboard, and gives your team back the hours they currently lose toggling between systems. No rip and replace. No migration. Live in minutes.
The one deadline you can never miss.
The 102(b) bar date gives your client exactly 12 months from public disclosure to file. Miss it and the IP is gone — permanently, no exceptions. IP Radar tracks every bar date across your entire docket, colour-coded by urgency, updated automatically from USPTO. One missed deadline costs more than a lifetime of Essentials subscriptions.
Case Pipeline
All active applications in one view — status, examiner, art unit, deadlines. Filterable by status, sortable by urgency.
Import from Anaqua, AppColl, Alt Legal, CPA Global. Auto-syncs with USPTO Patent Center — no API keys needed.
Examiner Intelligence
For every examiner on your cases: allowance rate, average OAs before allowance, most-cited rejection bases (§101/102/103/112).
Know the rejection pattern before it arrives. Prepare stronger responses the first time.
Filing Deadline Tracker
102(b) statutory bar deadlines alongside prosecution response deadlines. Color-coded urgency: red, amber, green.
Every deadline visible alongside the case it belongs to. No more cross-referencing spreadsheets.
Territory Dashboard
Live R&D signal monitoring across your CPC territories. Academic publications, federal awards, and filing activity trends.
The only prosecution tool that looks forward, not just backward.
Portfolio Health Metrics
Total applications, allowance rate, average prosecution time, pending actions, upcoming deadlines, and patents granted.
Spot bottlenecks and trends without running custom reports.

Zero missed deadlines
Every 102(b) bar date and office action response deadline in one view, color-coded by urgency. No more cross-referencing docket reports with spreadsheets. One missed bar date costs more than a lifetime of subscriptions.
Stronger first responses, fewer OA rounds
Examiner intelligence shows you the rejection pattern before the office action arrives. Prepare for 101 eligibility or 103 obviousness challenges proactively. Fewer rounds of prosecution means faster allowance and lower client costs.
Forward-looking intelligence no other tool provides
The only prosecution dashboard that surfaces new filing opportunities alongside your existing cases. Territory monitoring catches researchers publishing patent-ready work in your practice areas — opportunities your docket system will never show you.
Patent prosecution shouldn't cost you your weekends.
“I used to face a daily choice between cutting my own time and getting hauled over the coals over billing figures, or not cutting them and getting chewed out when the partner had to cut my time for each capped invoice.”
“You need to do a lot of work in a short amount of time” — because clients won't pay what the work actually takes. The precision anxiety is real. One error can mean lost IP protection or litigation.
When your deadlines, cases, and examiner intelligence live in one place, you stop carrying five systems in your head. That's not just efficiency — it's peace of mind.

Questions
Do I need to give you access to my docket system?
No. You export a CSV from your existing docket tool and paste it into IP Radar. We auto-detect column names from Anaqua, AppColl, Alt Legal, and CPA Global exports. Live status updates come from the public USPTO Patent Center API — no credentials or API keys needed.
What data do you pull from USPTO?
Application status, filing and grant dates, examiner name and art unit, CPC classification, full prosecution history (office action dates, types, and codes), inventor names, and patent numbers. All from the public Patent Examination Data System (PEDS) — no attorney credentials required.
What can't you get from USPTO automatically?
Your internal notes and strategy, custom deadlines (purchased extensions, internal milestones), claim-level detail on which specific claims were rejected, and the actual text of response documents. You can add notes and custom deadlines manually in the dashboard.
Will this replace my docket system?
No, and it's not trying to. Your docket system remains the system of record. IP Radar Essentials is the intelligence layer on top of your existing tools — it pulls data from multiple sources into a single premium prosecution dashboard so your team spends less time switching between systems and more time on billable work.
How long does setup take?
Under 10 minutes. Export a CSV from your docket system, paste it into the Import tab, and we populate everything else from USPTO automatically. There's no IT integration, no API configuration, and no onboarding process.
Is my data secure?
All portfolio data is encrypted at rest and completely siloed at the database level. Only your authenticated portal session can access your cases. No cross-client queries are possible — your portfolio is invisible to every other firm. Access audit trail lets you review who accessed what, when.
